RALLY OBEDIENCE
Have you taught your dog basic obedience commands and now you're looking for a new challenge? Then our 6-week Rally Obedience Class is for you!
Rally is a fun sport that incorporates basic obedience skills into a competition course with 10 to 20 "skill" stations. Handlers are permitted to use unlimited communication (hand signals, verbal commands, praise and encouragement) during a competition. Stations are designed to make practicing commands more challenging and much more entertaining than standard "Heel-Sit-Heel-Down-Stay" obedience practice. Rally stations also incorporate new "twists" to moving and turning with your dog, and can help fine-tune basic commands (such as improving your dog's Sit and Heel positions).
PRE-REQUISITE: handler's must be at least 12 years old, and have completed a basic obedience class or received the instructor's permission to enroll in Rally. Please bring your dog, proof of current vaccinations, and the designated Insurance/Materials fee to give to your instructor at the first meeting.
